Education Business Links Manager - Birmingham, Solihull

Salary £40,000

The Education Business Links Manager will be responsible for managing, developing and delivering the Education Business Links contracts and Work Experience provision across Birmingham and Solihull in line with national priorities ensuring all contractual targets and outcomes are fulfilled.

The role involves establishing, developing and maintaining effective business relationships with schools, colleges, LSC, LEA?s, employers and other appropriate bodies to influence the strategic development of education business activities. They will develop and deliver the Education Business Links strategy.

They will review and evaluate the delivery of education business activities and make improvements as necessary.

This role involves the line management of a team of Education Business Advisers including staff development, allocating and evaluating their work.

They will be responsible for increasing the level of income through the development of commercial services, indentifying funding streams, tendering for contracts and negotiating budgets for the delivery of Education Business Links activities.

This role will also be responsible for the delivery of Work Experience provision across Birmingham and Solihull to a consistently high standard and in line with Health and Safety legislation.

They will represent Birmingham and Solihull Education Business Links on a range of national, regional and local group contributing to the development of Education Business Partnerships.

Relevant experience of developing and delivering Education Business activities and a good understanding of curriculum developments are required for this role. Line management, partnership working, commercial and contract experience are also required. Good communication, negotiation and leadership skills are essential.
