Extended School Services Manager- 20-25hrs- £12.75 p/H - North London

Our highly reputable client based in North London has a requirement for high-calibre, experienced School Services Manager.

The Role
This position requires the successful candidate deliver an integrated Out of School services including childcare, learning and enrichment, opportunities for children who are aged between 4-11 years old in a safe secure and welcoming environment. The manager must work towards achieving the aims of the provision by enabling the children to participate in a variety of learning and educational activities. Good preparation, management of materials and equipment will create a busy atmosphere that offers choice. Careful supervision of the children is essential, to ensure equal access to opportunities are extended to every child attending the provision.

This role requires delivering a programme that supports the school?s improvement plan and children?s learning and development. This will include assisting children with their homework and enrichment activities this will be a major part of the new service. Playing a key role in preparing fundraising applications and reports to funders and other bodies. This is a key requirement of the post, in order to sustain and develop the service in the longer term.

Candidate Skills
?Candidates must have at least 5 years experience of working with children aged 5-11, in an educational setting.
?Candidates must have at least 2 years experience of managing staff.
?You must be able to demonstrate levels of numeracy & literacy to GCSE (A-C).
?You must have a Qualified First Aid certificate.

Education
Applicants must have a NVQ in Childcare to at least level 3.
