Senior Embedded Software Engineer : Wales (up to £45K)

I am looking for a senior embedded software engineer to be involved in development, implementation and modification of components which are used to build next generation DVB, IPTV and hybrid Digital TV applications targeted at Set-top-boxes and desktop PC?s. Primarily you will be involved in development and integration or porting of embedded IPTV or Hybrid API sets to a variety of environments. You will also be involved in significant interaction with customers within software suppliers, STB vendors and Chipset vendors with a regular travel to the south west London office. You must be proficient in C programming and experience of C++ is a bonus with excellent experience in working on Linux both as a desktop environment and as a development target. You should have some experience in embedded systems development within IPTV or DTV or Set-top-box domain. It is also ideal to see someone experience in video codec?s (MPEG, WMV, VC-1 etc). You will be based at Wales office with a rewarding salary of up to £45K or even more for the right individual.
